Our relationship with you and your immense contributions to the development of the Nigerian Leasing industry over the years is one thing we treasure. The Leasing Industry and indeed the Association, have been able to achieve remarkable milestones due to your unwavering support. Essentially, we made positive impacts on enhancing the level of lease consciousness, capacity building, advocacy for better operating environment, advisory services, enhancing business networking opportunities and visibility etc. Also, we made considerable efforts towards our long standing project – ELAN Secretariat Building Project, in spite of the tough economic environment. With all members paying their building levy and support from our partners, we expect to acquire a building before the end of the year.
With your support, we shall continue to pursue activities in furtherance of the Association’s primary objective of promoting leasing business in Nigeria, channeling our efforts towards improving our value propositions to you and other stakeholders through:
Sustained engagement with relevant authorities and organisations for better operating environment, including the commencement of operation of the Equipment Leasing Registration Authority, established by the Equipment Leasing Act 2015
Creating more visibility for leasing through effective media campaign, visits, “face time” and other networking events.
Identifying areas of business opportunities for members and facilitating effective linkage
Enhancement of capacity building that would meet the needs of the market and strengthening of advisory services.
Pursuit of the secretariat building project
Sustained engagement with fund providers for appropriate mechanism.
Indeed, we are confident of your steadfast support as we journey into the New Year and years beyond in our collective efforts to promote leasing in Nigeria.
